GENERAL INFORMATION
South Arbor Charter Academy has several grade specific Girl Scout Troops. Girls can be Daisy's in Kindergarten and 1st grade, Brownies in 2nd and 3rd grade, Juniors in 4th and 5th grades and Cadettes in 6th-8th grades. Troops can be formed at any time, there are also several established Troops at the school that may have membership openings.
Each Troop established is part of the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan (www.gshom.org). Individual Troops will have dues that cover the cost of activities, supplies and possibly registration to the Girl Scouts organization. Each troop will also participate in fundraising activities.

Ann Runowski - Troop meeting are every other Tuesday evenings at 6:15 - 7:30 in Mrs. Schneeman's room. We also will do one trip per month to help work on badge requirements.
Troop #40375 (3rd grade Browines)
Tammy Mayrend - Troop meetings are held twice a month on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:45 in Mrs. Roger's room. Additional outings will also be planned by the girls each month.
Troop #41828 (6-8th grade Cadettes)Cathy Kaczmarek - Troop meetings are the 2nd Monday of the month, 3:15 to 5:00 pm in Mrs. Guyveszi's room. The Scouts also plan an additional outing each month.

Cub Scouts at South Arbor Academy is for 1st grade - 5th grade boys and is divided into 5 dens that encompass the entire Pack 495. Each den has a separate leader and meeting Monday nights in the intermediate hall classrooms.

THE PACK
Pack Meetings are once a month on a Monday night at 7:00pm-8:00 p.m. and take the place of a den meeting. Our Pack is part of the Huron Trails District within the Southern Shores Field Service Council. For website information follow this link.
The Pack participates in fundraising each fall to help the youth contribute to activities. In addition, each member of the pack will pay Pack dues which will cover the costs of registration to the Boy Scouts of America, insurance, Boys Life Magazine for each youth as well as many activities the Pack does throughout the year. The budget is evaluated and set before the first Pack Meeting of each school year. All dues are communicated to the Pack and are to be paid at the first Pack Meeting.
Yearly Pack activities include a water rocket picnic, bike rodeo, hiking outings, fishing days, summer camp, day camp, a Blue & Gold banquet, Pinewood Derby races, popcorn sales, camping and so much more...
