Fundraising & Community Events where money changes hands
The PTO has procedures in place to keep things fair, consistent, and accountable. If you would like to start a fundraiser or event through South Arbor, you would need to print out the Event Request Form and turn it into the PTO President (you can use the dropbox in the office) AND the Principal. Questions regarding fundraising and events can also be sent to the President at President@SouthArborPTO.com. The President, who oversees ALL fundraisers, would then communicate with the PTO Board to discuss the proposed fundraiser/event for final approval.
Procedures that MUST be followed when conducting fundraisers/events can be found here. Continuing communication between the Fundraising/Event Lead and the Board is very important. In addition, all receipts and money must be accounted for and reported back to the Board in a timely manner.
